The Webb Elastic Garments Group Elastic Counter Pressure suit (ECPS) is a spacesuit designed especially for extravehicular activity. The spacesuit’s carefully tailored elastic fabric garments have been engineered to improve the range of activity and decrease the energy cost of work associated with wearing conventional gas filled pressure suits.  The ECPS provides an alternative approach that bears some significant advantages, such as increased mobility, dexterity, and tactility.
